CIDER MUSEUM OF ASTURIAS
The Cider Museum, in Nava, is a very interesting place where visitors can learn a lot about Asturian cider.
The guides explain the history of cider, how apples are grown, and how cider is produced step by step.
A special activity is that visitors are allowed to try “escanciar” cider. And the staff explain carefully how to hold the bottle high and pour the cider into the glass. This explanation helps visitors understand why this tradition is important in Asturias.

VISITING THE CIDER MUSEUM IN NAVA
During the visit, the explanations are clear and easy to understand.
The guides talk about traditions, festivals, and daily life related to cider.
When visitors practise “escanciar”, the guides give advice and correct mistakes in a friendly way. They explain why the cider must hit the glass and how this improves the taste. This activity makes the visit funnier and more educational.
Visitors learn by doing, and this helps them remember the information better. For teenagers, as we are, it was also catchy, knowing we have this «difficulty» in paying attention.
